A Year of Greats

Greats x Cadet

Our first collaboration of 2016 was with NYC-based menswear label Cadet, who put a twist on our Court High style that was both military-inspired and fashion-forward.

Pronto - Color Block (Multicolor)

Inspired by the bright colors, clean lines, and world-class engineering of European race cars and racing bikes, our Pronto Color Block became one of our fastest-selling limited styles of the year.

The Amerigo

The first entry in Greats' Off-Piste collection, the Amerigo took our favorite design elements of rugged hiking boots and finished them off in luxurious Italian materials.

GREATS X ORLEY KENT

Our 2016 collaboration with award-winning knitwear label Orley featured our Kent style, remade with 70's-inspired colors and paisley motifs.

THE MIDWOOD

Our trailrunner hybrid style fits for anyone walking the road less traveled, whether it's in nature or the urban jungle.

GREATS x ÉCOLE

To celebrate the launch of École, a new mobile-focused online menswear store, we released limited-edition versions of the Pronto and Royale High. Both styles came in navy and 3M reflective matte grey, École's signature colorway.

Greats x G-Shock

Here's one you couldn't get your hands on: we made an ultra-limited run of all-white Prontos for an event in NYC that we hosted with watchmaker G-Shock this summer

Greats x Robin Hood

Greats wasn't just "born in Brooklyn" - we're also committed to making the city we live in a better place. This year we partnered with NYC-based philanthropic organization Robin Hood on a benefit version of the Pronto, contributing over $12,000 and 750 pairs of sneakers to their efforts helping New Yorkers in need.

Wooster x Lardini

This year, we issued two rounds of our limited collaboration with menswear guru Nick Wooster and legendary textile mill Lardini. We also introduced women's sizes in these sought-after styles

Greats x Magasin

Josh Peskowitz's men's concept shop in Los Angeles, Magasin, was a natural fit for a bicoastal collaboration. The tonal tan colors make the craftsmanship of our Italian-made Pronto style pop out, and give it a classic West Coast look.

Greats x Noah

It's natural that Greats founder Ryan Babenzien and his brother Brendon, founder of Noah (and former creative director at Supreme), would collaborate someday. The result was a re-styling of the Royale Chukka from the ground up, giving classic 70's skate shoe style a luxurious and modern edge.

Greats x Death to Tennis

This summer, the latest wave of our collaborations with hot NYC labels dropped with a Royale Chukka we made in conjunction with Death to Tennis. DTT's clean, contemporary aesthetic was a natural fit for an all-white suede style.

The Amalfi Slide

This summer, we took Italian luxury poolside, with the introduction of our Amalfi slide sandal.

The Royale - Bella Pack

Not only did we introduce more women's styles in 2016 - we also did our first wave of limited-edition colorways exclusive for women. The Bella Pack added gold and silver accents to our Royale silhouette, for a subtle way to show off.

The Royale Vintage Pack

To round out 2016, we dropped three limited-edition versions of our flagship shoe, the Royale in Blanco. If you're looking for a pop of color on a classic silhouette, the Royale Vintage Pack was a super-fresh way to do so.
